Our Mission

DAANCE Prep was built with a single goal: help dental anesthesia assistants pass the DAANCE exam on their first attempt. We saw too many dedicated professionals spending hundreds of dollars on exam fees — only to fail because they didn't have the right study tools.

Traditional textbooks and generic flashcard apps weren't built for the DAANCE. They don't teach ECG interpretation in a clinical context, walk you through emergency decision trees step-by-step, or explain why the wrong answers are wrong. We built DAANCE Prep to fill that gap.

What Makes Us Different

DAANCE Prep is not a repackaged generic study app. Every feature — every question, every flashcard, every ECG strip — was designed specifically for the DAANCE exam. Our platform includes:

  • AI-powered tutoring that explains concepts in clinical depth, not just surface memorization
  • Full-length mock exams that mirror the actual DAANCE format and timing
  • Spaced repetition flashcards that optimize your study time using proven memory science
  • ECG interpretation training with real rhythm strips and challenge modes
  • Emergency decision trees covering laryngospasm, malignant hyperthermia, anaphylaxis, and more
  • Real-time readiness analytics that show you exactly when you're prepared to test

Who DAANCE Prep Is For

DAANCE Prep is built specifically for dental professionals pursuing the Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Examination (DAANCE). Our platform serves:

  • Dental assistants working in oral and maxillofacial surgery practices who need DAANCE certification to monitor patients under deep sedation and general anesthesia
  • Oral surgery assistants seeking to advance their careers and increase their earning potential with specialized anesthesia certification
  • Sedation assistants in dental practices that administer moderate sedation, deep sedation, or general anesthesia
  • Dental professionals transitioning into oral surgery roles who need comprehensive anesthesia education
  • Recent dental assisting program graduates preparing for their first specialized certification

Our students come from private practices, hospital dental clinics, oral surgery centers, and dental schools across all 50 states — united by the goal of earning their DAANCE certification and delivering safe, competent anesthesia monitoring.

Why DAANCE Certification Matters

The dental anesthesia assistant certification is more than a credential — it's a professional standard that verifies your ability to monitor patients receiving deep sedation and general anesthesia. In many oral surgery practices, DAANCE certification is required for employment or advancement. It demonstrates to employers, colleagues, and patients that you meet nationally recognized competency standards in anesthesia monitoring, emergency management, and patient safety.

With the growing emphasis on patient safety in dental anesthesia, DAANCE-certified assistants are increasingly in demand. Practices value team members who can confidently manage emergencies, interpret ECG rhythms, and assist during sedation procedures — all skills that DAANCE Prep helps you master.
